Abraham Lincoln was a great American president. His life teaches us many important things to achieve success.

Abraham became a lawyer despite no formal education. Abraham split rails and studied when he had the time. Abraham borrowed books to teach himself. He kept trying to teach himself so he can become a lawyer. Eventually, he became a lawyer. He was determined to become a lawyer and he became one.

Abraham stayed in politics even after losing so many elections. He eventually became successful. He was so successful, that he became the president. Abraham was very persistent.

Despite most of the country wanted to keep slavery, he showed tremendous leadership to end slavery. He didn't listen to people who tried to stop him from doing what he thought was right. He moved on and ended slavery. He showed a great amount of leadership in doing what is right.

  Abraham Lincoln taught us to be determined. He taught us to be persistent. He also taught us to show leadership. These personalities made Abraham successful in his life.

  Abraham Lincoln was a great American president. He was very honest, a great leader, and an influential person.  This allowed to achieve great things like ending slavery.

  Abraham Lincoln was a very honest person. When Abraham sold some tea to a woman, mistakenly he gave her less tea than what she payed for. On realization, Abraham rushed to give her the rest. 

  Abraham Lincoln was a very strong leader. Many people were against slavery in north and totally in confederate south. Abraham demonstrated massive amount of leadership to end slavery.

  Abraham Lincoln very influential in the world. He was a great speaker and writer. He wrote and spoke a great deal about problems of slavery. This allowed him to communicate well and influence people of the world. Especially US and Europe.

  Abraham was a great American president. His honesty, leadership, and influence allowed him to get the world to end slavery.

Abraham was a very important president of the United States. He was known for ending slavery and uniting the country. His early life had lead him to become a president.

  Abraham had a rough childhood. Abraham was born in February 12, 1809 in a log cabin in Kentucky. His mother died when he has was only nine years old. Abraham and his family moved to Indiana and then eventually to Illinois.

Lincoln received very little formal education but, he loved to read books from an early age. So much so, that he would walk miles to borrow one. His favourite books were the bible and Aesop Fables. These books constructed a literary, intellectual and moral foundation. As he grew up, he began to work by splitting rails. During this time he developed good social circle. He spoke on many issues. Many people realized that he is a great speaker. Some encouraged him to run for congress. So, he ran for congress. He tried many times, but failed many of the attempts. After he lost interest, he quit politics to start law practice. When Franklin Pierce signed the Kansas-Nebraska act, Abraham was against it. He led a public struggle against it. This propelled him back into politics. and made him famous. He ran for president and won. Abraham became the 16th president of the United States.

He did a great work as president. In short time as president, he fought the civil war to unite the United states. He signed proclamation of Emancipation that freed slaves. Alas, he made many confederate enemies. In 1865, Abraham went to a theatre. The confederate, John Wilkes snuck into the Presidential box and shot him on the head. He died 9 hours later.

  Abraham Lincoln had a humble background. He was a self made man who accomplished a great deal as a president. He was assassinated for his work. He will be remembered forever.
