The Best Day Ever

I am student in Carolyn Clark. Science is my favorite class. We took a test last week where I was expecting an A. Today, when I came to the class, my teacher handed us our test results. I earned a B+.  I was very close to getting an A. I felt depressed. I was really hoping that I was going to get an A, but I didn't. I thought I checked it thoroughly 5 times. But I didn't.
Getting there

Just then, my teacher told me we were going to the ice cream factory. I forgot my sadness. I like going on field trips. When we arrived inside the bus, I was sitting with my best friend, Akshay. We talked about funny things that have happened. I laughed so hard at one of his funny stories that when I was drinking water, it almost shot out of my nose.

At the factory

When we arrived there, which was in about three hours, I was hungry. Slowly, I smelled something very satisfying. It was chocolate ice cream! I was joyous because it was my favorite. The tour guy showed us all about how they made Ice cream. I was thrilled by how the giant machines made my ice cream.

I don't know game

After that, we did this activity called I don't know. Whoever finishes the ice cream math problems and turns in the worksheet first, wins. Luckily, I was good at math. I looked at the paper, I recognized the worksheet. I had already done something like this before. It had the same answers as the other one that I did. I finished the math problems and turned in the worksheet first. I had won! I earned the prize. It was a giant piece of ice cream!

Getting back

When we frantically rode back to school, which felt like one hour, last recess had just ended. Everyone packed up and traveled home like a speeding cheetah.

Conclusion

At first, when I picked up my report card with a B+, I was sad. Then, it turned out to be one of the best day of school. Sometimes surprises can happen unexpectedly at bad times. This was a memorable day at the factory.  I wish that a day like this could happen again.
